WHY THE NAME ??

The name Onyx holds a deeply personal meaning for me. After the passing of my father, I wanted to create something that honored his strength, presence, and unwavering support—something that would carry his energy into the space I was building. That’s when I was drawn to the onyx stone.

Known for its grounding and protective qualities, onyx is more than just beautiful—it’s a symbol of strength, clarity, and resilience. Throughout history, this stone has been used to absorb negative energy, encourage emotional balance, and promote confidence during times of transformation. It’s also believed to help with decision-making, offering support and inner stability when you’re building something new—just like I was.

To me, Onyx isn’t just a name. It’s a reflection of everything I wanted this salon to stand for: protection, power, transformation, and intention. Every detail in this space was created with that energy in mind—so our guests can feel grounded, seen, and empowered every time they walk through the doors.
