Salon Policies at Onyx
At Onyx Salon, we value your time, our artists' time, and the experience we create together. Our policies are designed to ensure every guest receives the highest level of service in a relaxed and professional environment.
Credit Card on File
To reserve any appointment, we require a valid credit card on file. Your card will only be charged in accordance with our cancellation, no-show, or late policies.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a 50% service fee.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
Please contact your stylist or our front desk to make any changes.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive 15 minutes late or more, we may need to adjust or reschedule your service. A 50% fee may apply for missed time.
Service Adjustments
While all services are non-refundable, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you’re not fully happy with your result, please reach out within 72 hours of your appointment and we’ll schedule a complimentary adjustment.
Allergy & Sensitivity Disclaimer
At Onyx Salon, your safety and comfort are extremely important to us. While we take every precaution to use professional products and follow manufacturer guidelines, we cannot guarantee that all clients will react the same to hair color, lighteners, treatments, or other chemical services.
Due to the individualized nature of hair and skin chemistry, Onyx Salon cannot be held liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities that may occur after leaving the salon. Clients are encouraged to communicate all known sensitivities prior to service and to request a patch test when needed.
Children in the Salon
Children are welcome only if they are receiving a service. We cannot accommodate unattended children during appointments to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests.
Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards and cash. Venmo and Zelle are accepted for gratuity only.
